Meet Andrea

Andrea Lane is a highly specialized dog trainer with more than 37 years of experience.  Committed to keeping dogs in their homes, she is passionate about teaching owners how to raise, train, and respond to best avoid and correct unwanted behavior.​

By helping owners better understand and communicate with their dog, strengthening their connection, communication and leadership skills, she has helped thousands of dog owners get their dogs to stop unwanted behaviors.  She's comfortable for people to learn from and extremely knowledgable.​

Andrea uses a highly specialized training method uniquely created to teach people how to stop unwanted behavior, train desired behavior, raise, train, and socialize a dog with a more stable temperament and engaged communication.  She provides a one of a kind training environment to work your dog in.

Based in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area, she owns and operates a 17 year old nationally recognized workshop and group dog walk that is sponsored by the GSDCMSP, and has been highlighted by Fox local news. She teaches obedience classes at multiple locations around the metro. She also offers private training sessions.​

Also a CGC evaluator, Andrea has been the training director and head trainer for the GSDCMSP, as well as an obedience teacher at multiple locations around the metro.  She's apprenticed and worked under experts in their field for years.  

 

Andrea also specializes in the unique and complex training needs of German Shepherds, and has created a specialized curriculum for them.  ​She currently has five Eastern line German Shepherds at home. She has owned and trained American lines and Western lines for decades, and has strong understanding of their unique training needs.
